Wrapping plastic window frames can be an effective way to change their appearance without replacing them. Here are the steps to wrapping plastic window frames:

1. Surface preparation:
• Clean the frames thoroughly: Remove dirt, dust, grease and other contaminants with a degreaser such as Avery Cleaner or cleaning agent.
• Dry the frames thoroughly: Make sure that no moisture remains, as this can affect the adhesion of the wrap.
2. Measuring and cutting the wrap:
• Measure the frames accurately: Measure the length and width of the frames and cut the wrap slightly larger than the measured dimensions to allow for sufficient margin for corrections.
• Use a cutting mat and a sharp knife: This will ensure precise and clean cuts.
3. Applying the wrap:
• Start in a corner: Remove a small piece of the backing from the wrap and stick it in a corner of the frame.
• Work gradually: Slowly peel off the backing of the wrap while smoothing the film with a squeegee or soft cloth. Be careful not to create any air bubbles.
• Apply heat: Use a hair dryer or heat gun on low to make the wrap flexible, especially around bends and corners. This will also help the wrap adhere better.
4. Sealing and finishing:
• Trim off excess wrap: Use a sharp knife to trim off any excess wrap around the edges.
• Press the edges firmly: Make sure all edges are pressed firmly and that there are no air bubbles or wrinkles.
• Use heat to finish: Go over the wrap again with a hair dryer or heat gun to ensure it adheres properly and remove any small air bubbles.
5. Maintenance:
• Regular cleaning: Use mild cleaning agents to keep the wrap clean.
• Avoid abrasive materials: Do not use abrasive sponges or cleaning agents that may damage the wrap.

Wrapping plastic window frames requires patience and precision, but with the right preparation and careful execution you can achieve a professional look.
