Article 5.2.42 Vehicle Regulations.
1. The windscreen and the side windows of passenger cars next to the driver's seat may not show any damage or discolouration. The provisions in apply with regard to the windscreen. Visual control.
2. The windscreen and the side windows next to the driver's seat of passenger cars must not be fitted with unnecessary objects that obstruct the driver's view. Visual control. This requirement is not checked during the periodic inspection for the issuance of an inspection report.
3. The light transmittance of the windscreen and the side windows next to the driver's seat must not be less than 55%. Visual control. In case of doubt, measurements are taken. This requirement is not checked during the periodic inspection for the issuance of an inspection report.
4. If the passenger car is not fitted with a right-hand exterior mirror, the rear window must not show any damage or discolouration. Visual control.
5. If the passenger car is not fitted with a right-hand exterior mirror, the rear window may not be fitted with unnecessary objects that obstruct the driver's view.
